Domains COM, NET, ORG, INFO, BIZ
Domains COM, NET and ORG are among the oldest of the eight domains on the Internet, which are called generic top level domains (gTLDs). In the years 2001/2002 the ICANN approved seven more generic domains, including domain INFO and BIZ.
All of these domains are transnational in scope and the owner can become any person. Before their use defined, their popularity, however, these restrictions virtually abolished.

- .net, managed by VeriSign Global Registry Services, domain originally earmarked for service providers on the Internet
- .org, are administered by Public Interest Registry, domain, originally set aside for non-commercial communities on the Internet

- .biz, managed by NeuLevel, Inc., domain company
