EU Domain
Eu domain is the primary domain of the European Union. Register domain. the eu may all firms located and doing business in the EU and its citizens. Terms and conditions and the registration rules are under the control of the European Commission, operation and provides registration Association of EURid.
The EU began to register the domain from where the first began 7.12.2005. the first phase of the Sunrise followed by the second phase. Since the registration is open for the 7.4.2006 all candidates meeting the conditions of EUROid.
Who can register a domain of EU
Registrants of the domain tld must meet the conditions of the geographical přislušnosti, as provided for in the EU Regulation 733/2002, i.e.:
- entrepreneurs and companies who have their registered office in a member country of the EU
- organisations based in a member country of the EU
- persons with permanent residency on the territory of EU Member States
Obligations of the holder of the registration
The holder of the registered domains must comply with several duties:
- by means of the Registrar to update the particulars laid down in the registration policy and kept in the registry so that they are always accurate, complete and reflect the latest state. In addition, the marketing authorisation holder declares and warrants that any e-mail address communicated to the registry will work
- do not use the domain name to the violations of the rights of third parties or applicable laws and regulations, including discrimination on the basis of race, language, sex, religion or political conviction
- do not use the domain name in bad faith or for illegal purposes
