SUNRISE PERIOD
Sunrise period (start-up period) has two phases. The purpose of the start-up period is to prevent domain speculators to obtain domains, which are protected by the trade mark, or for which there is a legal or mental. To obtain the domain name in one of the Sunrise period, you will have to each applicant in writing accompanied by documents, on the basis of which, after examination and verification, the domain name will be registered.
For all stages of registration, even for Sunrise period, applies the principle of "first come, first takes"! All applications for registration are placed in the "queue" and, in the case of the successful verification of the rights for the first applicant are the other applicants for the same domain name is automatically rejected. If the first applicant rejected, followed by the same principle for the next request in the series.
In the phase of the Sunrise period registrations may be registered:
- consisting of the full name of the State authority, public institutions (public body)
- the acronym by which the State authority, veřená institution (public body) is aware of the
- If it exists, the name of the territory administered by the State institutions (public body)
- registered trade marks/trademarks
In The II. phase of the Sunrise period may be registered domains:
- the corresponding conditions i. phase of the sunrise period
- other trade marks/trademarks according to the legislation of the Member country as
- name of the company
- the identifier of the company/product (business)
- titles/names of protected literary and úměleckých works
- unregistered trade marks/trademarks
- marks/names of products and services
- unregistered trade marks/trademarks
- known names (artistic, literal)
- personal names and surnames
Authority, which shall examine the justification of entitlement to the registration of the domain in the framework of the two phases of the Sunrise period was the administrator of the domain selected the company PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC).
